Information
Strep Throat
The symptoms of strep throat are sore throat, headache, and fever. A fine, bright rash may appear initially on neck and upper chest. If your child has these symptoms, please keep him/her at home. Serious complications can follow strep infections, and medical attention is recommended if this is suspected, or if there is a fever of 101 or above with sore throat. Children may return to school 24 hours after antibiotic treatment has begun. The incubation period is usually 1-3 days.
Please report this disease to the school nurse at 480-982-1110 ext 2707.
